Saturday, April 28th from 1pm to 4pm with the award ceremony
beginning at 3pm:

Entries
are to be picked up from 4pm to 5pm Saturday, April 28th immediately
following the reception and award presentation with the following
exception:
Award
winner's photography (with permission of any applicable
buyers) will be on
display at the Arkadelphia Arts Center
from Friday, May 4th through Thursday, May 31st. Award winners are responsible
for picking up their own art from this location no later
than 5 pm on Friday, June 1st.

Work may be in any photographic
style - realistic, contemporary, or abstract. All photographic
media is acceptable. Entries must be original and the photographer's
own work. Entries will be disqualified and prize forfeited
if they are shown to be copies.

All
photographs must be mounted on foam core or 4-ply mounting
board. Minimum size for entry is 5x7 inches mounted and matted
to 8x10 inches. Maximum size is 11x17 inches mounted and matted
to 16x20 inches including mounting and matting. Shrink-wrap covers, glass or other covers,
frames, metal hooks, and metal clips may NOT be used. |

on the entry form, all work must be labeled on the
back with the following:

Both
members and non-members may enter a maximum of four entries.
Any category with less than 5 entries by different photographers
will not be judged and the entry fee will be refunded. |

The
Caddo River Art Guild reserves the right to reject any entry,
including those that fail to follow the contest rules or any
entry whose subject matter may be deemed by contest officials
to be unsuitable for exhibition in a family environment. |

There will be two Divisions:
Youth and Adult. The Youth Division (ages 12 -17) will not
be divided into Categories. The Adult Categories are as
follows:
A. Landscapes/Architecture
B. Animals/Wildlife
C. Still Life/Floral
D. People/Portraits |

Any
work that has been previously shown in any Caddo River Art
Guild judged show may not be entered again. All work
must remain on display at the Dawson Ed. Co-Op Conference
Center until the specified pick-up times. |

Entry Fees:
A. Adult Caddo River Art
Guild (CRAG) members $7.00 for each entry for a maximum of 4
entries.
B. Adult Non-Members $10.00 for each entry for a maximum of 4
entries.
C. Youth (12-17) $7.00 for each entry for a maximum of 4 entries.

The
artist will be paid 80% of the price on any item sold. Pricing
should take this into consideration. Checks to the artists
will be mailed within two weeks following the sale date. |

prize for "Best of Show", regarless of division or category, and one prize for the youth
category "Rising Star" will be awarded by the judge's
selection.
