Gretchen
Hendricks is an Arkansas native being born in Arkadelphia then raised
in Benton graduating from Benton High School. Now she resides on
a family farm near Bismarck. She received her formal training at
the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Photography. Gretchen has taught photography at
Ouachita Technical College in Malvern and has won various awards
including second place in drawing at the 2009 Artist of Northwest
Arkansas Regional Art Exhibition. Her work has also been exhibited
in the Robert Herzfeld Library in Benton, Ark. and at Dianne Roberts
Art Studio and Workshop in Benton, Ark.

and making my photos my art!"
Gretchen is married to Michael
Ritchey, a Benton native, and lives on a 20-acre family farm near
Bismarck where they have several goats, chickens, a few hound dogs,
cats and an old horse.
